October 2024 updates

In October, we restructured the menus, introduced a new integration, and made several usability improvements to the tasks menu.

New Invoices Menu

To enhance clarity and ease of use, we separated the utilities calculation menu from the invoices menu. Previously, invoices for each building had to be created individually. Now, all rental invoices for a single legal entity can be generated with one click. This saves time and eliminates the need to switch between buildings to see invoice summaries, as everything can be viewed in one place. The unified menu also simplifies sending invoices to accounting or tenants—there's no longer a need to send them building by building; all invoices can now be sent at once to the desired destination.

Task Management and Preventive maintenance

We’ve made several minor updates to improve the usability of the task management menu:

  1. New View for Incoming Tasks – Previously, incoming tasks would open across the entire screen. Now, they can be viewed in a compact format on the right side, similar to already accepted tasks.
  2. Notification Log Entry – When you send a reminder to a contractor about an incomplete task, a log entry is created. This helps to track when and to whom reminders were sent.
  3. Enhanced Table View – To improve readability, the table view now displays the task title on one line and the task description directly beneath it.
  4. Improved Export Functionality – All tasks can be exported to Excel, now with an added “Device” column, making it easier to see which device a task is associated with.
  5. Preventive Maintenance Updates – For preventive maintenance tasks, we now display the device’s model and location (if added) alongside its another data.

Other Updates

Companies and users who have considered using Hausing but haven’t started yet can now try Hausing for free without any subscription fees. Simply register as a Hausing user to gain access and explore the platform. If you have questions or need assistance with your first steps in Hausing, feel free to contact us at info@hausing.ee.

NB! This is only for Estonian users: It is now possible to add a Building Register (EHR) code to all your properties. With this code, the building's cadastral number and usage purpose are automatically imported into Hausing. Once imported, the EHR code remains active in Hausing, and clicking on it will take you directly to the Building Register to view the building's details.
